Gangtok to Rangpo (Distance: Approx. 60 km, Time: 2-3 hours): You can either hire a taxi or board a shared jeep from Gangtok to Rangpo, the entry point to Sikkim. This route takes you through scenic landscapes and might include stops at Tsomgo Lake and Baba Mandir (subject to permit availability).
Rangpo to Zuluk (Distance: Approx. 30 km, Time: 1-2 hours): From Rangpo, you’ll need a permit to enter Zuluk, which can be obtained from the Rongli Bazar check post. Taxis are the most convenient option for this leg, offering breathtaking views along the way.
2. Via Bagdogra Airport/New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (Distance: Approx. 140 km, Time: 6-7 hours)
